Today, Dave is 43! I say he is now in his "late" early-forties or his "early" mid-forties....either way he is 43. Regardless of the number.....we love birthdays around here. In fact we had a "birthday" weekend. We enjoyed having the whole Bernadsky crew over Saturday for dinner and cake. Sunday, we ramped up the celebration with presents, homemade cards, a special dinner and more cake.
To top off his birthday weekend was Super Bowl XLV, a lucky coincidence....to say the least. Of course, the commercials were the highlight of the game and our favorite was the Darth Vader Volkswagen ad. The kids decided to give daddy one final gift for his special day....and this is it.

I like the Powell version better. They literally put it together in 30 minutes....I'm sure it took the folks at VW a little longer. Great job Powellings!
