Most everything in my life is "important" to me. I can make a mountain out of a mole hill. I'm sure that my most loved ones reading this are fully aware and accept this quirky fact. I worry about why someone honked at me two days ago in the Target parking lot.
Or I wonder (a little too much) about the lady that lives behind us that looks an awful lot like my ex-stepmother, Bonnie. I realize I can go overboard and sometimes I might be a little
too sensitive, and when it comes to my kids - I just can't help myself. I try
really hard not to "major" in the "minors".
But...with that said, here are a few of the "minors" that made it into my "majors" this week:
- William joined the KJH cross country team.
- John put his port site in all by himself - this is HUGE!
- Anna told me she learned how to cross her hands while jump-roping at school. She then demonstrated without a rope. Afterward she announced, "Wow, that was harder than with a jump-rope!" I'm still laughing.....
- David finished his first full week of kindergarten. It's been a huge adjustment and many tears have been shed (by both of us).
That's it! Not all headliners - but important to me nonetheless.
