No wonder we are freakin' broke! What an awesome day though. I don't believe we saw the kids much at all. They were busy sledding, snow ball fighting and having a blast. When they did come inside, their cheeks were as red as cherries. They put their clothes in the dryer in anticipation of going back at it while they sat by the fire drinking hot chocolate. Now that's livin'! Thanks kids for making it a fun day for me as well, even though I wasn't outside with you!
ReplyDeleteOur snow days in Virginia just won't be the same without you. I remember the huge ramp in the Murray backyard, making LOTS of cracker candy and puppy chow (I mean we sure did make a ton!), and chex mix. And then heading to Hidden Rock Park for some serious hills and driving all of you home one night in Derek's Explorer - now that was close but oh so fun! We will enjoy our snow but know you are what made last year so memorable - to have both families together is just another treasured memory! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Love y'all! Aunt Suz
