Love this man!We just finished a great week at Lake Norris....where unfortunately we caught more than fish....strep, scarlet fever and ear infections....not a fun way to enjoy our vacation. But, we made the most of it. We still were able to enjoy fishing, tubing, wake boarding, and knee boarding! And we also endured.....the 190 steps to and from our cabin, swimming creatures in the lake, and sore muscle we didn't know we had. In the end....lots of family time with plenty of laughs....a win....WIN!
Going to the lake is not easy and it definitely is takes a lot of work....but we always leave with great memories! Thanks for all the hard work you put into this lake trip! We really do "heart" you dad!
Thanks to my beautiful (and sick) family for a great vacation and Father's Day. The trip was awesome and it was great to shut down work and just spend time together. It was and will be a very memorable trip for me. Love Dad.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to "see" you but sooo sad to hear about your yuckies. Ugh - yes there seems to be so much planning, packing, gathering, etc. and to then have all of those illnesses but at least you got away and did it as a family. We missed you this year at OBX - we just got home and had a delightful time but you won't see pictures because I forgot my camera - what good parent does that? Love to you all and I so treasure these stories to keep me close to my sweet friends.
